"Talking Bodiez" is built on a trap remix of Tove Lo's 2015 single "Talking Body" that TikTok producer @kjtheproducer4 premiered on July 17, 2025 with the caption "I'll remix anything." [1] By July 30, TikTok user @realz4y — a high school football player — set a dance challenge combining Dallas-sourced "bend" moves to the remix, and reposted the choreography on Aug. 8, prompting hundreds of user recreations. [2] Billboard reported that the surge also lifted Tove Lo's original "Talking Body," whose TikTok sound and U.S. on-demand consumption both rose sharply in the first week of August 2025. [3]
