This pressing reprints that list and adds the one thing a playlist cannot show you, which is where each record is from. Fleetwood Mac formed in London. The Cure are from Crawley. Amadou & Mariam met at a school for the blind in Bamako, and a piano nocturne the list credits to an anonymous upload was written by a man born in a village west of Warsaw. Sixty-eight places in eleven countries, and the globe flies to each one as the song comes round. Ninety-nine of the hundred play; the one that does not was an upload with no maker to stand behind it. The taste is theirs and the receipts are ours: every place here is MusicBrainz's answer or a signed call that says what it overrode.
