Why it's here

Ace Frehley initially dismissed the idea of covering the song, but co-producer Eddie Kramer persisted, and the resulting recording became the highest-charting single from any of the four Kiss members' 1978 solo albums. [1] The track became a staple of Frehley's live shows, performed on Kiss's 1979 and 1980 tours, throughout his solo tours in the 1980s and 1990s, and again after he rejoined Kiss for the 1996 Reunion Tour. [2] A live version recorded in Sydney in 1980 and included on Kiss's You Wanted the Best, You Got the Best!! reissues is one of the few officially released Kiss live recordings to feature drummer Eric Carr. [3]
