"Nour El Ain" was released in 1996 as the title track of Amr Diab's album that blended Egyptian pop with Western dance-pop production, a stylistic shift credited with reshaping Arabic pop music. [1] The 1996 Nour El Ain album earned Amr Diab his first Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist recognition at the World Music Awards, part of a Guinness World Record he later set for the most such wins. [2]
