"Tough Love" was released on 9 May 2019 as the second single from Avicii's posthumous album Tim, and is credited to Avicii with Agnes and Vargas & Lagola, from sessions recorded in 2014 and 2018. [1] Avicii's team announced that all proceeds from the Tim album, which carries the track, go to the Tim Bergling Foundation, keeping the record part of a permanently promoted catalogue rather than a one-off single. [2] Netflix released the documentary "Avicii – I'm Tim" on 31 December 2024, alongside the companion "Avicii – My Last Show" featuring his final performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza, renewing attention on his late-career catalogue. [3]
