Why it's here
Beyoncé surprise-released the "Morning Dew (Donk) Remix Pack" in the early hours of Wednesday, August 5, 2026, a four-track set whose two Jay-Z versions (credited as JAŸ-Z) carry a newly recorded verse from the rapper, announced via a Parkwood Entertainment social post. [1] The remix pack extends a rollout that began on July 4, 2026, when Beyoncé released the long-unreleased "Morning Dew (Donk)" — her first new music in two years — with a Cliff Watts-directed lyric video, starting a 60-day countdown to the September 4, 2026 20th-anniversary reissue of B'Day. [2] Coverage of the August 5 remix framed it as Jay-Z's first guest verse in years, and the song was included in Pitchfork's July 21, 2026 list of contenders for 2026 song of the summer. [3]
