"Livin' On A Prayer" is a long-running catalog staple rather than a news-driven entry: it was Bon Jovi's chart-topping single from 1986's Slippery When Wet, the album that spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and carries a Diamond certification.
