Why it's here

Bonnie Tyler died on 8 July 2026, aged 75, in a hospital in Faro, Portugal, where she had lived with her husband in the Algarve for decades. [1] A total solar eclipse crossed Greenland, Iceland, Spain and the northeast corner of Portugal on 12 August 2026, within the chart week ending 17 August. [2] Listening data reported on 14 August 2026 showed the 1983 power ballad was among the songs most played during that week's solar eclipse, after having already risen following Tyler's death on 8 July.
