Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
The track was recorded with producer Bob Clearmountain at Little Mountain Sound in Vancouver and mixed at the Power Station in New York, with Adams and Jim Vallance shaping the song through numerous revisions before it nearly missed the final Reckless tracklist. [1] Adams performed the song at the Live Aid fundraising concert in 1985 and later chose it to open his set at the Expo 86 gala attended by Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales. [2] The song's success helped Reckless finally reach number one on the Billboard 200 after 37 weeks on the chart. [3]
