"Aliens" is the third track on BTS's fifth studio album ARIRANG, released March 20, 2026, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. [1] BTS announced on July 30, 2026 that it would not submit music for the 2027 Grammy Awards in opposition to the Recording Academy's new "Best Asian Pop Music Performance" category, saying they hoped their music could be "heard and loved for what it is, rather than being categorized by region or language." [2] After that announcement, fans pushed the album cut "Aliens" back onto multiple Billboard charts, taking it to a new peak of No. 4 on Digital Song Sales dated August 2026. [3]
