Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
Dolly Parton died at age 80, prompting renewed chart activity for her catalogue including her 1971 self-penned single "Coat of Many Colors." [1] Parton's Irish profile with this particular song dates to an impromptu 1990 performance at Páidí Ó Sé's pub in Dún Chaoin, County Kerry, footage of which has recirculated in Irish media coverage of her. [2] "Coat of Many Colors," written by Parton about a patchwork coat her mother sewed for her, was released as a single on September 27, 1971 and later gave its name to a 2015 NBC television film about her childhood. In culture
Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
