Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
Dolly Parton died in Nashville on August 25, 2026, at the age of 80, after what her family described as a brief illness, prompting a worldwide return of her catalogue to the charts. [1] On the UK chart dated 3 September 2026, in the week after her death, at least eight Parton recordings charted simultaneously, including "I Will Always Love You", "Jolene", "9 to 5" and "Coat of Many Colours". [2] Parton wrote "I Will Always Love You" on 12 June 1973 at RCA Studio B and released it as a single on 11 March 1974 as a farewell to her professional partner Porter Wagoner, before Whitney Houston's 1992 cover for The Bodyguard made it a global standard. In culture
Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
