"Be the One" was released on 30 October 2015 as the second single from Dua Lipa's self-titled debut album and became her international breakthrough, reaching number one in Belgium (Flanders), Poland and Slovakia and the top ten across much of Europe and Latin America. [1] The track is a catalogue radio staple rather than a new release: it is the only song on Lipa's debut album she did not co-write, having been given to her by producer Digital Farm Animals, and it has remained in her live sets and radio rotation since 2015. [2]
