Inner Light

Why it's moving

The cited reason

'Inner Light' by Elderbrook & Bob Moses is surging because Rockstar Games featured the track as the closing club moment in the newly released 26-minute extended GTA VI trailer (ahead of the game's Nov 19 launch), reintroducing the 2020/2021 song to tens of millions of viewers. Reports say Spotify streams jumped roughly 1,070% and playlist adds climbed more than 700% within days, matching the Shazam and Apple Music chart spikes seen from late August into early September 2026.

Every date here is the date the source chart covers, never the date we fetched it. Sources publish on different lags: the Spotify mirror runs about two days behind, TurnTable publishes weekly. One recording, one history: this table also counts the rows sources published under 1 other handle of this record (remasters, official videos).

City pickups

City charts record their parent country as the market, so these do not add to the market count above. One line per country: how many of its rooms picked the song up, and the best of them.
