Momentum

This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.

Why it's here

"Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" was released on 1 November 1976 as the lead single from Elton John's album Blue Moves and reached No. 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 11 in the UK, making it a long-standing catalogue radio staple. [1] The song was revived commercially in 2002 when boy band Blue re-recorded it as a duet with Elton John and took it to No. 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart, which is the version most commonly playlisted on adult-contemporary radio outside the US.
