Why it's here
The song was written by Nick Littlemore as a prayer for an ex-girlfriend who had fallen sick during an expedition in the Amazon rainforest, with Luke Steele writing lyrics while living in a caravan near his parents' house. [1] It won Single of the Year at the ARIA Music Awards of 2009 and Dance Work of the Year at the 2010 APRA Awards. [2] A 2016 Honda Civic commercial revived the song years after release, sending it to number one on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart and giving it its first Billboard Hot 100 entry. [3]
