The track was built around an interpolation of the 1982 Bolivian composition "Llorando se fue" by Los Kjarkas, the same melody that powered Kaoma's 1989 hit "Lambada," and its release drove that older song back onto the charts after more than two decades. [1] Produced by RedOne with vocal production by Kuk Harrell, the song paired Jennifer Lopez with Pitbull for a second time, following their 2009 collaboration "Fresh Out the Oven." [2] It became Lopez's highest-debuting Hot 100 single, entering at number nine, and went on to reach number one in 37 countries. [3]
