"Sex on Fire" was released on 11 August 2008 as a single from Kings of Leon's album Only by the Night and reached No. 1 on the UK singles chart, the band's biggest-selling single. [1] Kings of Leon were in the middle of a 2026 live run in the weeks before 7 August 2026, performing "Sex on Fire" at the InMusic Festival in Zagreb on 24 June 2026, footage of which was posted the following day. [2] That run included a UK tour in July 2026, for which the band announced its support acts in November 2025, alongside 2026 festival billings such as Austin City Limits on 11 October 2026. [3]
