"I Was Made for Lovin' You" was released in May 1979 as the lead single from KISS's album Dynasty, recorded at Electric Lady and Record Plant in New York, and remains the band's disco-inflected signature hit. [1] The song's continued placement in screen media keeps it in rotation: it topped the final 2024 edition of Billboard's Top TV Songs chart, powered by Tunefind, after being synced in Disney+'s "What If...?". [2] It was also covered by YUNGBLUD as the opening song of the soundtrack to the 2024 film The Fall Guy, released as a single on 26 April 2024, and KISS themselves are scheduled to reunite for the KISS Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas at Virgin Hotels on Nov. 13-15, 2026, with a tribute to late founding guitarist Ace Frehley. [3]
