Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
The song's writing led Frank Zappa to tell George to leave the Mothers of Invention and form his own band, which became Little Feat. [1] Sung from a truck driver's point of view and featuring the line about weed, whites, and wine, the song became a trucker anthem while also being kept off radio broadcast. [2] The track features Ry Cooder on bottleneck guitar alongside the Little Feat lineup. [3]
In culture
Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
