Why it's here
"Earrings" is a 2024 Malcolm Todd track from his debut mixtape Sweet Boy, and it did not reach the Billboard Hot 100 until nearly two years later, debuting at No. 95 on the chart dated March 14, 2026, which put the catalog song back in active rotation heading into 2026. [1] Todd released a new Columbia Records album, Do That Again, in 2026 and announced a 38-date North American tour behind it that opens September 2, 2026 in Irving, Texas and includes Radio City Music Hall and the Greek Theatre, so the late-August 2026 chart date falls in the week before that tour's opening night. [2] Todd also played large summer festival dates immediately before the anchor date, including a Golden Gate Park, San Francisco appearance on August 8, 2026. [3]
