"Fade into You," released as a single from Mazzy Star's 1993 album So Tonight That I Might See, is the band's only Billboard Hot 100 entry, peaking at No. 44 in 1994 and reaching No. 3 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart. [1] The track has functioned for decades as a film and television licensing staple, with early placements including the 1997 film Starship Troopers. [2] It was also used in the 2021 season five premiere of Riverdale ("Chapter Seventy-Seven: Climax") during the prom sequence. [3]
