This was the first No. 1 R&B hit on the Billboard chart by any P-Funk group, and Parliament's second certified million-selling single. [1] Its bassline was created by Bernie Worrell using at least three connected Minimoog synthesizers after Bootsy Collins rejected the part originally written for him.
