Recording features a planned violin contribution from jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli, arranged after he and Yehudi Menuhin were recording downstairs at Abbey Road at the time. [1] The song segues from "Have a Cigar" through simulated radio stations, including a snippet of the finale of Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony, before settling into the track proper. [2] It was voted the 18th best rock song of all time by listeners of New York City's Q104.3 and ranked No. 302 on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time," both in 2021. [3]
