Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
John Deacon's bass line was directly inspired by Chic's 'Good Times,' after he spent time hanging out at their studio. [1] Michael Jackson personally urged Freddie Mercury backstage to release this track as a single after seeing Queen perform live. [2] The bassline runs at close to 110 beats per minute, close to the recommended range for CPR chest compressions, and studies found it helped medical professionals and veterinary staff achieve accurate compression rates. [3]
In culture
Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
