An official new version, "Children" by Robert Miles and Dutch duo Tinlicker (Edit Mix and Extended Mix), was released on 23 February 2026, putting the 1995 composition back into active catalogue circulation in 2026. [1] A 30th-anniversary 12-inch reissue titled "Children (1996-2026)" was issued on Italy's Smilax Records (cat. V26001) with a listed release date of 27 March 2026, limited to 1,000 numbered copies and replicating the original tracklist including the "Dream Mix". [2] The record's standings-lane presence rests on its original run: released in November 1995, it peaked at No. 2 on the UK Official Singles Chart, spent three weeks there behind Oasis and Take That, and spent 10 weeks in the UK Top 10, with Miles writing it as a closing DJ record to calm ravers before their drive home. [3]
