The guitar solo was played by James Young rather than songwriter Tommy Shaw, a rare swap the two later repeated in reverse on "Half-Penny, Two-Penny." [1] It has become a staple of classic rock radio and is typically the closing song at Styx concerts. [2] It has been used as game-day and walk-up music by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Milwaukee Brewers, and was performed live by Styx at the 2011 NHL Winter Classic. [3]
