Sylvester Stallone commissioned it as the theme for Rocky III after Queen refused him rights to "Another One Bites the Dust." [1] Sullivan and Peterik built the riff's chord changes to match the timing of punches in the film's boxing scenes. [2] It won the Grammy for Best Rock Performance by Duo or Group with Vocal and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. [3]
