The song topped Triple J's Hottest 100 of the 2010s in March 2020, a countdown decided by public vote. [1] It was one of two Currents singles, alongside "Let It Happen," to reach the top five of Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2015, placing at number 4. [2] Kevin Parker described the song as growing out of an obsession with disco, and recalled recording it so obsessively that he performed over 1,057 partial vocal takes for either this song or "'Cause I'm a Man." [3]
