Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
"Zombie" was written by Dolores O'Riordan as a protest song about the 1993 IRA bombing in Warrington, England, and released in September 1994 as the lead single from The Cranberries' album No Need to Argue. [1] In April 2020 the song's official video passed one billion YouTube views, making The Cranberries the first Irish band to reach that mark and the video one of only a handful from the 1990s to do so. [2] Island issued a 30th-anniversary super deluxe edition of No Need to Argue in 2025 that includes a 2025 remaster of "Zombie," a previously unreleased demo of the song, and a new remix by Iain Cook of CHVRCHES. Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
