Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
Lou Reed wrote the song specifically for Nico after she told him following a 1965 show, "Oh Lou, I'll be your mirror," and she provides its lead vocals. [1] Nico struggled through numerous takes trying to soften her naturally strident voice until she broke down in tears before finally nailing the delicate performance the band wanted, according to Sterling Morrison's account. [2] Andy Warhol, who produced the record, wanted to press a built-in scratch into the vinyl so the line "I'll be your mirror" would repeat infinitely until a listener moved the needle themselves. [3]

Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
