Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
The song was released as a free red 7" vinyl with a unique Jack White-designed etching, included with the June 6, 2007 issue of NME magazine. [1] The track is written from the point of view of two rag and bone collectors, portrayed by Jack and Meg White through interspersed conventional verses/choruses and spoken narrative. [2] Sean Fennessey of Vibe called it "the funniest and best track" on Icky Thump. [3]
In culture
Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
