Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
The song was originally written as the closing track for Pete Townshend's unfinished Lifehouse rock opera, depicting the aftermath of police invading the Lifehouse Theatre. [1] It features dual lead vocals from Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey along with piano work by Nicky Hopkins, drumming from Keith Moon, and bass from John Entwistle. [2] Rolling Stone critic John Mendelsohn rated it among Daltrey's and Townshend's best work, calling it 'an unutterably beautiful song.' [3]

Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
