Momentum
This song has not appeared on a Rotation chart, so it has no score and no receipts. The rank history below is the ledger; a score is only published once the momentum run puts it on a chart.
Why it's here
Producer Mick Jones recalled pushing Sammy Hagar to sing so high on the track that he hyperventilated and nearly passed out. [1] Nine years after its 1986 release, the song reached a new generation of fans when it was featured in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and its soundtrack album. [2] The song's best-known music video features the US Navy's Blue Angels performing aerial stunts in A-4F Skyhawk jets. [3]
In culture
Every place this record has lived. A solid chip states a fact and carries the citation that earns it; a dashed one is a connection somebody drew, and carries their name instead.
